In response to my last entry the good news is 90% of my pics are safe. All it took was an old hard disk from E-bay, £10 and a small screwdriver and i sorted it. problem now is those final 10% are stuck on the hard disk and can't be got at at the moment as it's decided to corrupt itself. Hopefully this will be sortable, but if not only a small amount of work lost, so it aint all bad.

Tonight I feel rather annoyed and somewhat apprehensive. To get to the root of the problem we must step back in time a mere two weeks, to a sunday when I was at work and received a phone call infroming my my computer had set on fire. 'Brilliant' I thought, 'That's just marvellous'. To be fair I knew I needed a new computer sometime soon but I did not expect it to be baptised in fire. So got home to find the power supply had simply given up the ghost and spontaniously combusted. Then I remembered my my entire portfolio had was on it, but was assured that the damage was confined to the power supply and my pics would probably be ok. Jump forwa
